Biodegradable sensor for blood flow
Monitoring blood flow after rejoining of vessels is critical to assess the extent of the repair, but pulse sensors that enable tracking after patient discharge are not available. Here, Zhenan Bao and colleagues design a biodegradable, cuff-like sensor that degrades after several months and measures arterial pulse in a rat model.
