I work across the Open Access Journals group at Springer Nature to drive various editorial initiatives and support editorial colleagues in their goal of delivering best-in-class author service and high-quality research content. I joined Nature Publishing Group (now Nature Portfolio) in 2013 as an editor at Nature Genetics handling papers across the journal's broad scope in genetics and genomics, before becoming Chief Editor of Communications Biology in 2017. I obtained my PhD in genetics at Cornell University, with postdoctoral work at Weill Cornell Medical College. I have research experience in Drosophila evolutionary biology, genetics and reproduction as well as mammalian stem cell biology. I am based in the New York office.
