About Qing Dai

Research Professor, The University of Chicago. Trained as a Ph.D. in organic chemistry, I am an expert on organic synthesis. In my postdoc training, I worked on nucleic acid chemistry and synthesized many DNA and RNA oligos with various modifications as models to study biochemistry. Since 2012, a K01 award from NIH allowed me to extend my research to chemical biology, mainly focus on developing new sequencing methods for various DNA and RNA modifications. I am an expert in synthesizing modified DNA and RNA and developing new methods to map these modifications in biological samples.
